Its tradition that something is lost to the river ever year. I lost my board shorts and just about lost my bikini top!! My friend the exhibitionist who was only wearing a coconut lost it to the river!! Althought I don't think he was that upset!

It would be fun to live down river imagine the treasures you could find!

oh man. it was this armour sleave ring, I bought it after I saw Angelina Jolie in Hackers wearing a similar one but it just covered the knuckle.
So we were floating down the river when someone jumped off the bridge near the end and we all started clapping, and when I did my ring came right off my finger and into the water and there was nothing I could do! I have another one but it's not the same....

We ended up leaving a day early. It seems like atleast half the campground was leaving today - to much sun and heat for a lot of people I guess.

Had fun while it lasted tho

Sucks to see the Osborne Street fest is over so early too

had a great canada day. tubing was awesome 2-3hours each time down the river, met lots of cool people alot from winnipeg. must be the 40 hours i spend outside working everyweek cause i wore less sunscreen than the others and didnt even get burnt.

drank pretty much all the way from 9am till about 3am when i crashed. never been on a 18 hour drinking marathon before. hehe

Is Red Lake Falls near Red Lake Ontario, a couple of hours east of 'Peg? I worked near there a couple of summers. It was definitely the boonies!

I DJed a little party at a nearby lake, some ppl there were into electronic music from 90s (uncommon here where most everyone is a redneck) so I dug out the old skool house trax for them until 4am. Armand Van Helden and a rare funky house remix by Armin VB.

Red Lake Falls is in Minnesota. Its about a 3-4 Hr drive from Winnipeg.
