my mom thinks that EDM is actually called "Tiesto"...its all she knows.

My parents have joked and asked if they could come to these "raves" with me. I don't think they quite know what it is that I listen too since I am not at home anymore but they know it is electronic music and my mom knows DJ's names from reading my MSN names when I am going to see certain dj's in town but that is about it
