My creative side usually sucks. I am much better at mastering, some eq some panning etc etc.
Im hopeless when i sit infront of a keyboard and just bash the keys untill im happy (wich is never) I need to learn more music theory and I need to learn to let myself free.

Hardest part (the way it was determined in the first post) for me is getting an idea. Sure you can get ideas - even decent ones - fast, but getting something that really has emotion to it is another deal.

And the next hard part is arrangement: getting everything to flow smoothly and making parts compliment each other.

Finding the right melody and making myselve work on progressions, not starting to mixing and mastering right away is difficult for me.

Thinking outside the box; Creation vs. Imitation.

Instantly recognising what sounds good and bad instead of a million tweaks later (kinda like what Aquarian said)

Focusing on what I can do instead of what I can't do

EDIT: I almost forgot - gatting sleep.

Have a beer or two. That will help you ease up a bit. Don't drink so much where the white and black keys on the keyboard start to mesh together though - that is just dumb

Mixing drives me nuts. I'll raise and lower the volume of the synths over and over, and then never be 100% happy with the end result. That is the only part of production that feels like "work" to me. Trying to make sure all the tracks are heard, without being overbearing. I don't mix while I arrange, I go back and mix after I get the arrangement the way I want it, so I can get it just right.

As for mastering, I let someone else do that.

I've been perfecting my 4/8 bar loops for so long I forgot how to arrange a song. =(

learning how to make the sounds that you want is definitely the biggest learning curve imo...

The hardest part is definitely the composing part, making ideas and melodies.

Getting an idea is the hardest part, looking at the trance scene nowadays however, most of the artists dont get good ideas.

Thats the reason 90% sounds all the same.
