What happened to an old fashioned hike, or watching Pink Floyd's "The Wall"? Couch laying!? For fucks sake no wonder it was a bad trip. |
A trip like that can only be bad if you make it into one yourself. IMO if you were of a stable, creative, thinking mind, able with some degree of success to analyze your own thoughts, it could be the most profound experience of your life. I've had some downright scary and messed experiences with this drug, and there were two, and in particular one trip that I could NEVER explain in words. It was a time that I and another, my partner, transcended existence from this dimension, and existed on a whole new level, as one unified being. It may sound very silly, and hippy-ish, but again, its not something I can put into words. I do think that it was one of the most spectacular experiences I've ever had, and it has changed me, and will be something I remember for the rest of my life. Even thinking about it now, almost a year after, conjures the same emotions and observations I had then.
EDIT: I think it only fair to add this last bit. I would not recommend taking mushrooms if you're looking for a spiritual experience. Take it with no reservations or expectations. I've had just ONE experience of the kind, and afterwards, through various other NON-drug-enduced methods, mainly just reading and thinking, have been able to take a further step from that experience..
