With no disrespect intended, I by no mean wish to bash China. I just wonder how if they invented "everything" why are they just now emerging as a super power? Why is there so much poverty? Why such inferior civil development, much of the country is with out plumbing, electricity.... The saddest thing is wasted potential, and with out doubt for the last 100+ years the western world has dominated. What do you think went wrong? Shouldn't China be more dominate? Is communism really that bad in practise?
Thanks to those who take the time to honestly voice their opinions. If I'm wrong, and you think so... say so. But, these are honest questions I have pondered, and since I have only read about China and been exposed to anti-communist american propaganda. I'm sure there are some of you much more well versed in this topic. |
The Chinese have been ancient civilizations dating back 1050 BC, the rich were educated and the poor could not afford to attend any type of schooling. It’s a fact that majority of Asians are very intelligent and know how to save and make money. But, with the poor continuing with their lives being uneducated and etc, and they won’t have the chance to become what they want to be. Even from this day it’s like that. Poverty played major role in China. In present time, the poor are now slaving in factories and earning just enough to make it by. Communism really fucked up everyone and everything. Once the com gov was rejected and China now has opened its door to the world. It has made everyone greedy, the rich get insanely rich and the poor are getting poorer. Shanghai is split into to classes and as time goes on, the classes will be separated even further.

For you to blast my culture and my ppl like that was uncalled for. Stating your theory without any facts, being so ignorant and uneducated about history really makes you look like a fool. You wanted the evidence, and now it's provided.
Think about it, it's like me saying the Itialians did not invented Wine and the Americans did, is an insult to your culture and ppl.
We have invented a lot things, but not all. It;s like Japan, they haven't invented many things at all, but they do take an idea and improve it x 100000 better and that's their key to a successful economical society. That's what the world have done with many of our inventions, and many ppl do not know the orgianl concept and idea was made by the chinese ppl.

Bukkake History (CONTENT WARNING!!!)
Legend has it that in ancient Japan, women who were found to be unfaithful were publicly humiliated in the town center by being tied up while every man in town ejaculated all over her to show his distaste. Basically, they were saying that if you're going to take it from someone else, you're going to get it from everyone else. So although many feel that the practice of bukkake is shameful and degrading to women, it must be remembered that bukkake originated as a form of punishment and is meant to degrade.
In the late 1970s, many Japanese adult film studios were looking for ways to "push the envelope" for their Japanese customers. The first films usually featured a schoolgirl or secretary who willingly submits to one man after another. They come from everywhere off camera to shower her with ejaculate at just the right moment. As each man finishes, he silently leaves and another quickly takes his place. In some cases, the girl has sex with each man before he ejaculates on her face.
Demand for these films, now called "bukkake", skyrocketed. By the late 90's, it had evolved into its own genre. Gay men began to experiment with the practice in ritual initiation ceremonies. American and European filmmakers were quick to follow the Japanese lead, adding their trademark stylish flow along with a line of willing porn starlets who were ready to be covered in cum.
The original Japanese films portrayed a highly ritualized sex show where a demure young lass, usually in school girl or corporate uniform kneels in the center of a small room. There is usually some visual prop to emphasize her as the center of attention - velvet ropes hung from brass pedestals forming a fence around her, or two or three rows of "guards" who control access to her.

I'd just like to point out that things were like this EVERYWHERE, Europe included. The idea that China did not evolve these ideas because the masses were held back is a ludicrous notion, as it is a history NOT unique to China, but to practically every emerging culture and country to ever have existed.

Wow, pretty strong statement. I dunno why this just jumped out at me.

Again, this is nothing unique to China. Although, arguably, communism can be said to be a big problem, note that China is still communist, and yet can be said to be growing much more than, say, India, which is the world's largest democracy. Don't get the wrong idea. You said it yourself, China is a VERY old country, and a culture that has survived probably for the longest period in human history. However, for a very long time, a VERY long time, China was on a superior footing to the rest of the world, technologically speaking. They had as many great ideas. But they did not develop them. It can also be found that many of the world cultures had very similar ideas. We all observed the stars, from there developed counting, arithmetic, and so on. We live on the same physical plane, with the same laws that govern existence. Many things that evolved from that, evolved because of the curiosity of human nature. China didn't have too many ideas that were so new or different from, say, ancient Babylon, or Egypt, or the great Greeks, for that matter. I don't mean to downplay or insult, I'm just saying that around that time, there were many cultures that were developing, and to claim that ONE invented all these great things is just pushing it too far. BTW, DIscovery usually just scratches the surface of the things they present, as it is a channel not for researchers, but for those watching to get a basic idea.
BTW, for the post above, not too much, or at least as much as before, is made in China. China is now a very strong, growing economic power, and a country that knows its worth. Most cheesy labour is now given to countries like Indonesia, and such. China is fast developing its own infrastructure and other economic ventures. For those of you interested, i'd seriously consider researching more. The culture and country is so interesting. Imagine living in a city with 100 million people!!!!!!!!
