I certainly agree that a tendancy towards common marijuana usage would definitely correlate to an increase in the experimentation with other substances; however, I don't think the line is drawn always towards the vile and dangerous substances - hell, Marijuana usage also leads people to incredibly beneficial and powerful substances like Mushrooms, Peyote, LSD, DMT, Ayuhuasca, Salvia, etc... I can't disagree with the gateway theory, but it's not always a gateway to "puuuuuure eeeeeeeeevil!", it's simply a doorway to realms. However, if cannibis does indeed impact the brains ability to reach reward states, or happiness, then there is no doubt that the easiest of the pleasure-inducers, Heroin and Cocaine being the mainstays, will be the path most walked. Mushrooms and the like, though they lead to more enduring, more inspiring and full-bodied happiness, are much more difficult to manage. This is a society of "path of least resistance" after all.

If you enjoy music with depth - music that may spontaneously induce fantasies of distant realms, places, or states of being - you may enjoy the music on the following link. However, there is also a chance that you will be re-directed to a horrid vision that will claw away what remains of your dwindling childhood innocence. Are you willing to take that risk? I thought so... I thought so.
