they mentioned a few times during commentary here that he changed the team formation 3-4 times during a match. he seemed to have the team pretty well drilled and they gave argentina a good run for their money.

did well for a team without many stars.

he wasn't mexican, i think that's the problem they had with him..

Sven was going regardless too from england, he'd shown himself inadequate to the hopes, and only went on to reaffirm this. McClaren. well he's not better

our commentary said that the fans hadn't all taken to him because of it.

Lira - our fa screwed up the scolari deal. They wanted him to announce he was joining us before the finals, which he couldn't do, esp as england got portugal anyway. How would be get their respect & motivation "beat my new team" sums up the stupidty of our FA
