i think it's nice to be able to turn up the bass in your phones on a track that has a weak kick when you're trying to beatmatch. but then again, i'm a noob

ya sure kyle, $175.00 for sure!! lol.

i actually figured out the problem, im kind of an idiot actually.
i can hear the eq in my headphones if i have the cue button turned off. so if i am mixing a track i can just set my cue point, then turn the cue off, and then hear the track with full eq in my headphones. i always just kept the cue on the whole time like with other mixers. i now enjoy my mixer a little bit more.

The Xone:92 is pre OR post EQ. There's a button in the monitor section.

I don't really see this as a huge deal. Yes, some tracks may have a weak kick or hihat to begin with, but that can be solved just as easily by cranking the gain or cue volume.
