its all about raving thats what everyone forgets. if you had your first electronic music experience sipping a martini and leaning on the bar then i think you owe it to the community to go out and fry 5% of your brain in a warehouse someplace.

both have their plus/minus's.

at least you guys have good snow...

sounds like your scene sucks (no offence). sounds like toronto is where its through.

underground parties are rare here now but we still have a thriving trance/hardtrance seen with regular big events (5000-30,000 people).

anyway i still might wonder round the city. i found east hastings street an 'interesting' place last time... hahaha

very interesting place. if you are looking for a place to buy crack and people to do it with that is.

What's a rave again?

Our club scene here is good fun. fridays & saturdays at Gecko are now both rocking. Saturdays at Red Room as well are fun.

Our rave scene was bought, diluted, packaged up, and sold to the highest bidder in a reconstituded form of throwup that no one I regularly associate has any appetite for.

Yo man... I for one can't wait for the snow!!!

Definitely send me a PM when you get to Vancouver. I spin trance and progressive house, so I can definitely point you in the right direction. I'm opening for BT August 25th and another great show in September...

Cheers mate

There are a few true underground parties, but they're pretty 'hush-hush' to the general public, and even not-so-general-public (I'm lookin' at you, FnK). Hey, if they were easy to find, they wouldn't be underground, now would they?

Still, I find Lotus has managed to maintain that 'ol' school' vibe nicely.
