1)hehehehehe..hehe..wait..you like trance, right?
2)MC's don't yell the same thing, unless they're unoriginal, like many are. take a look at MC GQ, Fats (god rest him), Shabba, Whitey..
3)I like drum'n'bass
4)insanely entertaining stuff! look up Dj Hype w/ MC GQ at Syrous Connected.. that is the greatest set ever spun (that i have heard) it's all over audiogalaxy. checkit.

drum'n'bass is very, very trendy. and because of this there is a lot of people that want to be an MC, or a DJ, or a Producer, you know? it lowers the quality. there's an abundance of jungle around.. maybe you guys just haven't heard the right stuff.

you'd think that.. but a good mc can make a set. a bad one can ruin it.

Hmmmm.

Ok it was DnB that got me into the scene to begin with (along with some electronic tunes from Prodigy). A buddy of mine introduced me to Goldie (ya ya ya but still awesome), Dillinja and J Magik. LUVED it all. Then I got into some jungle...was alright...liked dnb better (still do). Then I heard Tiesto...thought it was crap (yeah CRAP! I know...) then I heard Trance Energy 2000, Innercity 2000 a few more times...and just went trance CRAZY. Now you all know the rest...lol.

Drum n Bass will never die, in fact right now i'd say it's growing. Like someone said before, no style ever dies, as there are always the die hard fans who keep it going underground

1: Beats are just as repetative at trance
2: Those are the shit MC's, check out MC Conrad, he and LTJ Bukem are the ultimate team. It's as if Conrad's singing to the songs. MC Dynamite has a lotta talent as well. Partyt MC's are shit, like the dude at Club Eau and that fag at Mysteryland at the start of Marco V's set.
3:I love it, especially the jazzy sound
4: not boring, u just gotta get into tha groove

Lemme ask ya this, how much dnb have you heard recently? and how loud?..hehehh

Heh heh...
This thread is rapidly getting pretty pointless...

I personally don't mind who listens to what and so on...
No genre ever dies because there is always SOMEONE doing AND listening to it.
I love almost every music possible, d'n'b isn't one of my faves but I can still listen to it.
Heck, I can listen to Backstreet Boys if I have to!!!

Hmm... I wonder if this post is relevant in any way... oh well... here goes anyway

D&B is alive and kicking in vancouver. It has a waaaay larger following in the rave scene then trance.

Wanna know whats funny. Everyone one here BITCHES about how people dont understand trance and they hate how so many people trash it. And here you are trashing D&B, like how the fuck can you say its useless?....its music. In Vancouver the D&B scene is just molesting the trance scene here.

But ya untill you can produce better D&B then whats out there I suggest all you people trashing it should shut your ignorant fucking mouths.

PS. my bro has been spinnin D&B for almost 5 years, i grew up with it

mmm...D&B. awesome shizit. the d&b scene is pretty big. you just don't hear about it as much as trance or the other electronic genres that's all. but it is just as huge. especially in NA.

D&B is just all underground right now.

However, as I started out with Jungle ages ago (Goldie, Optical, Photek, Roni Size, etc), i'll say that most of it has went nowhere. Too few innovators, everyone copying theselves, or making this crap awful sound. Most American Jungle / D&B DJs are just copiers (IMO). There are a few cool cats (Stakka + Skynet, Grooverider, etc), but they are few and far between.

Give it a try - there still are a few things that'll blow your mind...

It's very big in the UK, Toronto has been known as the second best place for D&B outside the UK (opinions from UK Dj's & emcee's). I wouldn't say it was dead at all. I know up here (Toronto), I know more ppl that are into that scene than the Trance scene, and if you go to a D&B party here, it fills up with more then a Trance party, but tends to clear out faster then a Trance party...odd, but yeah, i like D&B, but only third to Trance/Techno. So... as it is... D&B is far from dead.
