the food law is whacked... if you want to serve food then serve food. If you dont want to it shouldnt be forced.
its right up there with other stupid laws such as no alcohol in the dj booth (an actual law) and forcing bartenders to open all drinks when served (also an actual law)
LOL @ canada being a free and open society

i dont think anyone disagrees with you on this, but there will have to be many changes in the way clubs conduct business if they plan on being one of the survivers. one of which, will be patio's.... which will likely have no chance of having music played on them - and the club itself will have to make sure to contain the music in the club to prevent further complaints.

its just another restriction which will give certain authorities out there more power to extend their hand out to receive that magic briefcase.
Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.

lol, and combined with the no smoking law on the patios, soon enough, the only thing you'll be able to do on them is sit quietly with your hands on your lap.
Edited for typos.

Bah, this sucks. Especially if it spirals out of control to where it becomes super restrictive about everything.

Wow. This is pathetic. I also highly doubt that this article being released right after The Docks looses it's liquor license is a coincidence. Is this the start of another attack against the club scene?
How many times does it have have to be said? If you don't want noise, don't live in the clubbing district! The "rights" of homeowners are being taken way too far.

Perhaps our community should be looking into doing the same thing.
