i dont have asthma, but i definitely think i have some sort of heart irregularities that limit my physical ability to do cardio for long periods of time. i have those "arrythmias" at least once a week, and i've been having them since 4th or 5th grade. i'm sure stress and my coke usage for about a year didn't help things but anyway, i need to have it checked out when i finally get some good health insurance.
even during times of my life where i was in the best shape ever (like in high school when i was on the soccer team), i STILL just never got used to the cardio. everyone always struggles in the beginning when you haven't gone running/jogging in a long time, and you just need to keep at it and eventually your heart gets in better shape and you're able to get that "runner's high" or at least able to tolerate the running without practically dying...yea, i never get that, no matter how hard i try or keep at it.
i was talking about my symptoms with zoso actually and he brought up mpv...or something like that. i forget. anyway it has to do with the flaps in your heart not working properly or something. i looked it up and it's quite common i guess and i had like pretty much all of the symptoms like chronic cold hands and feet, etc..
and i have difficulty breathing too even after walking up a bunch of stairs. i mean i know i'm not in that good a shape, but i'm also not THAT bad...christ, it's not like i weigh a thousand pounds. i should be able to walk up some stairs without trouble breathing. oh well. sucks though, i really wish i was able to run and experience this "runner's high" that everyone talks about.
