Ok guys, I like to think of myself as somewhat of a V Festival veteran having attended the last 7 consecutive ones in the UK....

The first year I went, there were 25000 people. Last week, there were 125000 - I assure you that as popularity grows, as does the line-up standard (and the ticket price). I have just booked my tickets for V2007 next year at home but I will definitely be at the first Canadian V Fesival.

It is a great way to see new acts showcase their talents - my favourite newbie from V2006 was Paolo Nutini. Kasabian, Radiohead, Faithless, Keane, Groove Armada, Paul Weller, Magic Numbers, Lily Allen, Xavier Rudd, Canada's Daniel Powter all rocked my world over the weekend! I think the Canadian line-up is good for the expected size of the event...

Not quite as big A DJ line up as the US, but the stage was only confirmed as happening a couple of weeks ago.
