in the bios, at what temperatures are the alarms set to go off?
it might be that by default they're set to go off at not even close to hot temperatures, in which case bump them up

report back what they're set to, and then we can tell you wether or not it's getting to the point where heat is an issue, or just if the default settings are stupidly low

you might find that useful for monitoring

quite interested in knowing what your idle temp is and what temperature it gets to after it's been under full load for a while

i dont know why everyone is over-intellectualising this process. some cards/chipsets run hotter than others, your BIOS doesnt know what the safe temp is automatically, so essentially the alarm is useless. you might have a safe operating temp of 60 degrees, yet the alarm might be set to 40.

like i said, youll get graphical artifacts or repetitive crashes if its running too hot, which, if youre not overclocking, is highly unlikely. i think the fact that the burner is setting off the alarm says it all.

honestly, i know a lot of nerds and not one of them has this option switched on. the first time i encountered the feature my mate had it on for a day before getting rid of it, coz itd just go off all the time. it achieves nothing.

switch it off.

you'll get graphical artifacts from video card overheating/beyond specs.
cpu, you'll get system instability

but yeah, if it was something like 40, then that's nothing to worry about, and crank the threshold up
