Both hearing and seeing we take for granted, so the thought of not having one of them is terrifying, I don't think I could live without either, but if one of them were to be taken away from me....

OK, this is hard.
So many great things to be seen in life, yet so many amazing things/toons to be heard.

I'm stumped! Thanks Kelly for the hard thinking process @ 12:00am! lol

ok see i didnt think this would be easy for most..b/c other ppl that i have asked (like at work and such ) have said "deaf" without a second thought...and my first thought was blind even though yes being completely blind would be horrible.

OMG that video....WTF???

Being blind isolates you from things.

Being deaf isolates you from people.

lol that makes absolutely no sense, the way you try to differentiate the two.

there is such a thing called sign language. can't say i really approve of the analogy.

this would be ridiculously hard to choose. I'm a musician and have been all my life to the point of graduating with a degree in music. so life without music = not living. However, i couldn't bare to not have the ability to carry out everyday tasks that we take our vision for granted.

as a musician though, i must say the only way to live is to hear. (but to produce music i'd be fucked, theres no way i could manage a DAW without vision).

I think blind.
I hate making decisions so I THINK BLIND
why?

pros:
1) never have to see anyone ugly again so mean
2) I would entirely based liking the person solely on personality
3) BECAUSE I WILL GO CRAZY IF I NEVER HEAR MUSIC AGAIN

but

cons:
I would need assistance.

omg that reminds me. I saw a woman near the subway platform yesterday - I asked whether she needed assistance - she said no. I felt soo bad for asking, but I had to ask. It was one of those awkward questions. :|

anyway cd is burnt! gtg sleep

deaf without a doubt.

Atleast you are more capable of fending for yourself without your hearing.

As far as hearing music goes, i think people with hearing disabilities are able to sense the bass. My uni has a huge deaf school and I had to live a few months next to deaf people. Couple of times they left messages on my door with frikin tooth paste saying "Turn of your damn music"
