I like the tracklist.

A friend of mine plays almost the same type of music, progressive/trance - melodic which is nice you know. Each has their own taste in music...

Yeah, I like house too. But I have always really had a thing for trance. But, like you said, to each his own. Really getting ramped up on my music before August 29th.....When I will be sitting on a beach in IBIZA. White Island baby!

it also doesn't help that i'm somewhat of a perfectionist, and i'm working on ableton with only a mouse.
i'll get it though, and let you guys know when it's done. i'm curious to get feedback, as much negative as possible, since i might be DJing for some parties back at school...

The last mix I posted was done using only a mouse. Here is a tip do it rotary stylee.

The first night we are going to Pacha. Davis Morales and Satoshi will be a couple of the DJ's there. I think Van Doorn is going to be there the next night. Not sure about the next three days. We are going to play it by ear when we get there. The last day we will be at Amnesia. Markus Schulz, AVB, Matthew Dekay and others. Good way to end the trip. Been there before and know that the headlines can sometimes change this late in the season. That is why I haven't made many definite plans on which clubs I will be at. Robbie Rivera will be playing the foam party at Amnesia, which is always fun. But we'll see. We are only going to be there five days. Last stop on the European vacation ya know. Not sure my wife could handle more than five days. Last time I was there for eleven days and was just wrecked when I got back to the states

Heh..your preaching to the choir on that one. Again, the patience thing is something that you will have to condition yourself to do overtime. A rule of thumb I always used was, after a period of time where the music was becoming more of a job than it was fun, I got up and did something else...then came back to it when I was in the mood. If you stress yoruself out over a project then NOTHING will sound right because of your frame of mind. Its also good to get objective and constructive feedback from informed listeners.

I've got 3 mixes that I'd like to post up, as soon as I can get them hosted. I'm thinking yousendit or something, or maybe JBD can hook me up with his site.

Anyway, tracklists so you can begin kibitzing:

mixed June 2006:

Tresca - Easy Ride
Gabi Newmann - Eva (Deep Room mix)
Dirtbox - Gutterstylz
Steve Angello - Teasing Mr. Charlie (Long mix)
Dum Dum - One Earth Beat (Gardner & Star Rave Lizard Mix)
Mode Hookers - Breathe (Instrumental mix)
John Digweed - Warung Beach
Switch - A Bit Patchy (Eric Prydz mix)
Mason - Exceeder
Coburn - Give Me Love

mixed April 2005:

Chris Salt - Dub Sonar
Steve May - Open Day (Luke Chable Quakes & Craters mix)
Steve Porter - Vodka Cranberries (Grayarea Remix)
Chab - Us and Them
Dousk - The Novel
Habersham & Numinous - Leaving Tifton (original)
Way Out West - Apollo
Dousk - Pa Dida
Lonestar - New Kicks
POB & Taylor - Aura (Northern Lights Mix)
Way Out West - Killa (original)

mixed November 2003:

Vector 13 - Isis (original)
Subsky - Strawberry Fields (original)
Echofalls - Shiver (Blue Haze's Melodic Extract)
Panoptic - Surface (original)
Yunus - Red Pilot
Vector 13 - Rise
Steve Porter - Definite Form (Jumpin' Dub/original mashup)
Nathan Fake - Outhouse (original mix)
Luke Chable & Danny Bonici - Ride (original)
Danny Tenaglia - Turn Me On (Bedrock remix)

The April 2005 and November 2003 mixes are live recordings from the radio show I used to broadcast weekly at the US Naval Academy, during the 2 years I was there. God, that station had the shittiest equipment I've ever seen, and the absolute worst possible mixing board for electronic mixing, but I managed to get the job done. The newest mix I did at home off of 2 Technics SL-1200M3D's and an Allen & Heath Xone:62.

Links to downloads to come shortly, hopefully by the end of the night.

The April 2005 and November 2003 mixes are live recordings from the radio show I used to broadcast weekly at the US Naval Academy, during the 2 years I was there. And yes, some of the songs were mixed from shady bootlegs or are ghetto-style edits that I did for my personal use.

Links to downloads to come shortly, hopefully by the end of the night.

"Outhouse" what a choon. One of those tracks that can fit into a Trance/Progressive/Tribal/Electro/Techno set.

Border Commie Alliance.
