Headphones are bulky and a pain to deal with. I like to be compact and able to hear what I'm doing.

good luck

F**k it. I'm just gonna get me a pair of flip flops and two woofers. To hell with headphones and ear buds. I'm much cooler than that.

I bought the Sure E4c's at my job. They sound great but I really hate the feeling of having constant pressure on my ear to cancel out noise. Over all good headphones, just don't like the idea of having sound waves hitting my ear drum directly.

i've had the e2c's for a long time. i did consider djing with them, but i just didn't want to change up how i do it. they would be fine and double as ear protection also.

I recenty started to use ear buds, After seeing lance use em at barcelona, I never seen any other Dj before use them, so I was curious and I was blown away with the difference that I heard. I also noticed that I did not have to turn up the volume so much as opposed to standard earphones. plus when you have god like features like me, the blocking of that profile by an earcup is just wrong lol

If you have shitty monitors in the booth. The earbuds can protect, and if you have to... you can mix in them with no monitors pretty easily.

I mix at low volumes already b/c my ears are sensitive... The earbuds feel more natural to me. You can completely block out all outside sound if you need to. You can adjust the placement in your ear to your liking... depending on how you like to mix. I found that headphones just got in my way.

At the end of the night, my ears are not nearly as fatigued as when I use headphones

The only qualm I have about earbuds is that it might look funny standing there with one in my ear and one just dangling.

Lance Cashion, Shameless Godfather. Not ashamed to wear a scarf in a Texas summer and let it all hang out of an ear for good measure.

He's right, though. Last I checked, you were spinning, not modeling. Function over form!

It would be awesome if they had single earbuds and I could just keep one in my left ear, but I guess I could always stick the other one in a shirt pocket. Come to think about it even with the danglie it would probably still look better than my huge Sennheiser cans.

I got the E3c's. about 140 on amazon. They really work well, esp with the foam inserts. The sound is crystal clear, cancels noise very well. Only prob is bass is not strong enough, the E5c's fixes that prob, other than that they rock.
