I don’t see any reason for getting any of these C series CD players over CDJ200 unless you really want scratching which most of us don’t, or if your style of mixing really requires a few cue points and reloops. CDJ200s 0.02% PS makes it up for all that. I cannot comment on C314's effects since I have never used it but I’m sure it’s nicer to get a good mixer with efx and sample sequencer. Also Stanton's cd players don’t have slot loading. |
Mixer wise I was going to get a Stanton M.304 because a friend was offering me a brand new one for 200$ instead of the regular 350$.
I guess it's now down to picking between the CDJ-200 or C.314 since they're both the same price heh.

yeah i would pick the cdj 200 over the stantons because ultimately the only features the stanton has are the scratching and sampler/hot cue. However you are likely not to even need those features and the cdj-200 has effects and a .02% pitch control. Also don't under any circumstance get the djm-300. The thing, while solid, is incredibly outdated. It has no features whatsoever, the cueing system is laughable and when there is sunlight out you don't wtf is going on, my channel fader is also starting to give out, however after a couple of years of minimal use, the BPM counters are worthless, and there is no crossfader adjustment. Ultimately if you even consider the djm-300 over the stanton for a second then you must be out of your mind. Let us not omit the fact that the stanton also includes and extra channel, an effects loop, booth volume control, kill switches and sounds 10X better than the pioneer.

Alright, thanks then, 2x CDJ-200 and 1x Stanton M.304 it shall be!
