THere's this package that you put on top of your film and it blocks the X Ray's shit .... forgot what it's called.

I woudnt worry jay, its a requirement for there always to be bilingual staff in the airport. And italy isn't that far behind, im sure they know that xraying her film will ruin it HIGHY doubt you will have to speak a word of italian. (amost every italian i met when i lived in lanciano and venice spoke close to fluent english, with a few hand signals of course...)
