Tiesto in May at the Guv or Kool Haus eh? I wonder if he'll be here the same weekend as Picotto? The guy who told me that Picotto will definitely be here May long weekend said that the whole Guv complex will be open cuz they're planning something big. Hmmm......

Okay, just read an email from that guy from Nocturnal Magazine and Tiesto will be here in the Summer. It's confirmed. He'll get back to me with a date. It's a Gold Series event. So here's looking towards the summer time!!!!!!! Can't wait.

Nah, he was good, but he didn't spin the set that he would normally play because he was promoting his new cd at the time, which is "Politics Of Dancing", and if you listened to it then you would know what i'm talking about. That cd he made was a double-cd... the first cd was meant to sound like a set opener and the second cd is meant to sound like a closing set... so it wasn't your high energy set that we're use to hearing from Van Dyk.
Now your friends probably thought it was shit, maybe for the above reason, but also cause it was in the middle of the week, the crowd there that night seemed really strange i thought, plus Guv tried to make it look nice, but fucked up by cutting things out that would have made it alot better... for example, they didn't have all the speakers working and up as high as they normally go, they didn't have the great lights on that hang above the dance floor, and all night it was shitty maintenance... the place was really gross that night.
So if he Tiesto comes back i would love to see him at Koolhaus again, if he's at the Guv complex. Last time i was there, the set- up was great, not to packed and the clientel wasn't as bad either.
Regardless of where he is, i'm definitely looking forward to seeing him spin again.

I didn't realize that he played his whole set from the cd. I should of realize the reference isn't even a reliable source. At least you clearified that. I love the new cd. I bought it the day it was released and to people who don't like it....."to each is his own". They can't appriciate good trance when they hear it. He is always worth seeing but i did hear from the person who went from the lady i know who us a reliable source even though they r not into trance music(he's a bassist for a band) he said the crowd was very screwed up that night.
