maybe this might help (the store is point "A")

heh thanks for that, i was wondering what dumbo meant! that aerial view map is pretty helpful too.

i've never walked across either bridge but i've always wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge... but honestly i have no idea how far of a walk it is or how long it takes to get from one side to the other. can you walk across the Manhattan Bridge too and is one bridge better than the other?

sorry for all the n00bish questions, i'd just rather know this shit before we get out there so i dont have to feel like an idiot tourist, lol.

i'd recommend Yama if we went. Kinoko is a place for the manhattanites who want to eat for their money. This is why Amazon lady and man couldn't finish their dragon rolls and suspiciously try to pawn it off as if it was the one who didn't eat anything! BLASPHEMY!

and tek - yes spicey tuna for me lol.

if you walking across the bklyn bridge, you can probably knock out the NYC pizza since the famous Grimaldi's is located right across the bridge on the bklyn side. It comes highly suggested and quite the commodity for those bridge walkers!

Grimaldi's
19 Old Fulton St.
No Credit Cards - Great Pizza! - Possibly a long ass line (maybe not during the weekday)

man this sushi talk is making me hungry...

we probably won't be doin the sushi thing while we're there though. Rob isn't a huge fan, and we get some pretty bomb sushi out here in Wisco that's probably half the price of NY sushi, heh.

Mamoun's falafel though, i'll be hittin that place up for sure. *drool*

edit // and lots of NY pizza!

I'm not sure if you can walk across the Manhattan Bridge. In addition to vehicular traffic, it also carries a few subway lines.

Walking across the Brooklyn bridge isn't that long, but it's no 5 minute event, either. I can't remember how long it took when I walked across it during the blackout in 2003, but it's less than 30 minutes.

Oh boy don't get me started. You are the one who totally neglected your responsibilities as a team player and refused to take one for the team... you are a disgrace to buffet-style dining. Next time we will order 6 dragon roll and you eat it all to make it up to us. Dismissed!

And lucid & RJT, you should totally just walk around the village and chill out there in the coffee shops & bars & stores. Brooklyn Bridge walk is A+ !! There's a great ice cream shop on the BK side when you get there, il laboratorio del gelato, I do believe it's nearby.

The next time, there will be a no roll rule imposed. Instead, we will all just get big slabs of fish on rice and I will bat clean-up for the team.

By the way, I looked up the info, you can walk across Manhattan Bridge. Here's a website with photos so you can get an idea of the view - http://www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com/...ttan/index.htm. To me, it looks like the Brooklyn Bridge is the better bet.
