Wow, way to redeem yourself, first decent post Ive seen from you in a while. World War III is so incredibly unlikely I will not even waste any more time writing about it. An economic war, that could be extremely destructive, however, is not out of the realm of possibilites. As oil supplies begin to dwindle, years down the line, you will see scenerios play out for control of these resources. Now, no other U.S. president will be as foolish as Bush to telegraph his struggle for these resources, rather it will be done under the scenes through cia backed revolutions (like in the 60's and 70's) and puppet regimes. However, the turmoil and instability that will be brought about through these revolutions will only be amplified as China will more than likely attempt to do the same thing. The economic consequences of these actions could be drastic. It will be like the cold war all over again, only now throw in an even more pissed off middle-east (if that's possible) in the middle and you have a real shit storm.
