I work at Ruby Foo's (49th street: dim sum and sushi) But I would HIGHLY suggest with all of the great restaurants NYC has to offer... not to eat in Times Square!!

so many options...if you like sports like i do, eating at the espn zone is nice but make sure to go to the upstairs bar or you'll be surrounded by little kids. if that's not for you and you like indian i suggest maharaja which is on 44th b/w 2nd and 3rd.

Is there any reason why this has to be in Times Sq? There are millions of restaurants in nyc that serve much better food for a decent to average price per cuisine.

If you must stay in Times Sq and don't feel like walking a few blocks

I want to say 46-47th and broadway but I'm not certain. It's fairly pricey so expect a nice sized check. The food is definitely in a higher tier in price, quality, and presentation. Yes, it's one of those "that's it" places, so don't expect no buffet. The raw clams comes highly recommended.

My dinner there for about 9 of us ran about $600-700 with drinks and bottles of wine. I had a filet, others had the lamb chops.
