i've never partied in italy, but man it's awesome.

We partied in Italy at new years in florence and it sucked big time, but then again it was techno with marco bailey, and for some odd reason, techno in Italy attracts skinheads. A lot of Italian techno DJs have actually cited this.

When we went to fortezza basso there were so many angry skinhead punks dancing very oddly, and the music was terrible, so we left.

Alex Neri is very popular. we kept seeing his name on a lot of events listings. We wished we would have gone to a house night instead.

Italy is absolutely beautiful. It was my first time visiting my homeland too!

I hope you fall in love with it. If you have the opportunity, please visit the amalfi coast, more specifically Positano. It is a gem.

I've heard Tenax is a really nice club. We unfortunately didn't check it out when there, as Allegory described above.

The food is amazing, but if you're eating out Italian is really the only option. I think in our entire time there I only saw 1 or 2 other types of restaurant, and 1 of them was a very sketchy-looking chinese food joint.

The people were friendly and warm most places we went. Florence, be warned, is a complete tourist trap. If you're going to eat out there, try looking on the other side of the river from all of the touristy spots, just over the Ponte Vecchio. One restaurant I recommend highly is the GoldenView Open Bar, amazing food, reasonably priced and incredibly nice staff.

Enjoy yourself, it should be an amazing experience.

Very nice, It's goin to be an exprience of a life time for you. But I hope you enjoy your time there ,cause for some people like me the change of environment aint good at first. It takes time for me to get used to a new place, and now that i am in iran for vacation ,I just can't feel myself belonged to anything in here.


Can't wait to get back to Canada (ey) ..lol
