Ok Crash,

Here is the 909 kick BTAAADA.wav from the modarchive pack starting at normal volume and being raised 10db at a time in soundforge.

It finishes up as a very usable gabber kick.

909 or similar samples, maybe a distortion unit or plug-in is all you need.

Yeah those ones you made in soundforge are horrible.. Stick to distorting samples. Distorting long 909 kicks is probably how they were originally made. Listen to how much fatter Synch's or Ben's is, now thats a fat kick. Listen to the difference in low-end between them, that's what makes a kick.
