Bah, you know exactly which scene I'm talking about, I don't want to spoil it for people

I thought the 'Land of Waves' arc was horrible. I don't get why people are always hailing it as something so amajiiing.

i really can't stand to watch scenes where women are being exploited and taken advantage of...it makes me angry and sympatheic with the characters...
examples...
Requiem For A Dream - Jennifer Connelly ends up sleeping with various people to support her habit.
The Good Girl - Jennifer Aniston agrees to sex with her husbands friend as a means to hide her real affair.
i guess i just get angry because i would hate for someone i care about to be put in that kind of a position. i mean say you were dating someone...would they be capable of something like that to keep the relationship from breaking off? it just really bothers me because the scenes are usually very real and plausible...and especially when the character is a very likable person to begin with...

+1 to all of that
also...
the scene in Rules of Attraction when the girl commits suicide in the bathtub. the combination of her cutting her wrists + the effects that were used on the music and the cinematography almost made me pass out when i saw it in the theater.
