Anyways, glad you decided to check it

i really enjoyed this mix. hope you dont me saying this ... the only gripe i had was the inconsistent volume level. the whitenoise in the beginning is much louder than the rest, and i think one other part is like that too. im at work and have to keep the volume low, i had to jump to my volume knob and almost spilled my coffee. btw i love whitenoise, and would've liked to hear more of it, maybe more of the soothing airy kind.

I think that has more to do with the transitions rather than the volume. The Stimbox track is a bitch to mix, as it jumps into noise mayhem really abruptly, and being only about 2 minutes long, you can't really mix it in after it does that without missing much of the point. In addition, the Tangerine Dream-tune goes very quiet half way, providing even more contrast. It seems like I still have to work on getting noise into my sets smoothly.

Thanks for listening everyone.

Wow, this set is possibly the best 'truly' ambient set I have ever listened to, Mr Sand Leaper. You should send this to that ETN.fm Dreamscapes thingy. I felt like I was being taken on an adventure or a journey; moments of tension, apprehension lead to quiet and calm and then an awakening of senses, anticipation...on and on. I wish you did the time thing so I knew which track was playing when. What are you playing at 21:50 ish? And the piano solo just around 25-27 minutes is gorgeous, almost playful, teasing. I think whatever is playing at 43/44 and 47ish just totally pwns. I guess if I had listened to all of the tracks, I'd know what is what. Well maybe not. I don't even know what is TD in this and I'm sure I have listened to everything they've produced by now. Well prolly not.

Thank you for sharing.

Hehe, I think a quick glance at TD's discography will reveal that you prolly haven't listened to more than a fraction of it. And I doubt that this set would work too well on ETN. White noise isn't really part of their musical profile.

I'll do the tracktimes later if I have time. For now, I'll just highlight the tracks you're after:

Fumiya Tanaka - Sketch #1 - Besides
Hecate - The Tower
Stimbox - Fourth Bottle Of Chamjinisulro
LHD - Curtains, Track 4
Defekt - Lovesong
Tangerine Dream - Atem / Blowfish - Trumpet Fishology
833-45 - Schumann Resonance / New Star
Steve Stoll - Intuition (1st Movement)
The Hafler Trio - The Most Beautiful Breath
Locust - The Love You Cruelly Gave Me Would Not Last
Infra Red Army - Cage
Ryan Teague - Prelude III
Rapoon - Machine Tongue
Matthew Florianz - Dwaalicht
Biosphere - Warmed By The Drift
Anomalous Disturbances - Sombunall

Ozy - Sugar
Daniel Pemberton - Antarctica
Sundummy & Stephen Phillips - Cold Swamp
Burial - Untitled

Thanks for listening.
