Wait a minute... Yes, I did raise an eyebrow when I read that in the paper, but has anyone heard his "duet" with Tupac, called Ghetto Gospel (sampled with Elton's Indian Sunset)? It's a sick song, luv it, and he ended his concert here in TO a few months back with it, and brought the crowd to tears of joy.
It even went straight to #1 in the UK when released, played piano for Eminem, 1st caucasian to have a #1 on record on the American R & B charts (Bennie And The Jets), and the first white guy to ever appear on "Soul Train." I'd definitely give this guy a chance.
Think about how everyone laughed when Mick Jagger aggreed to duet with Michael Jackson...
