the producer has a lot less to do with making a movie than the director, who bears the most responsibility...

while its evident that ferry did a majority of the work, all we need to do is listen to the mediocrity that is ligaya to hear how much tijs' input was missed.

but all that's irrelevant to this dogshit thread.

He did nothing. Actually Tiesto isn't the producer behind his works but Arny Bink and Geert Huinink. He just smiles at the cameras and make naked fotage to playgirl magazines once in a while.

Actually that's not entirely true. Armin Van Buuren actually produced everything labeled "Tiesto" in the past 6 years. Tiesto keeps him locked up in his basement. The Armin we all know is actually Tiesto in an Armin-costume.

I love conspiracy posts.

You pick up this working girl who's hooked on smack, who hussles and scores. "That's all I do" she says, she says "Ten bucks for head, fifteen for half-and-half". She says "Three hits a day at 35 per", you say "That's seven tricks a day at least", but she says "Sometimes I get lucky. Once this guy gives me a bill-and-half just to eat me, only time I ever came".
You figure you can save her. You sell your color tv, that keeps her off the streets a whole day. You hawk your typewriter for one jolt. Then your shotgun, your watch. A week later you say "Listen I'm a little short", but she says "No scratch, no snatch". You say "Look it is better to give", but she says "Beat off creep".
One night they spot you on the street in your skibbies trying to sell your shoes. You tell them who you are, but they nail you. Then she happens by and she says "Christ you look fucked", she says "Hang tough!". But you don't say anything, you just think "what a bum rap for a nice, sensitive guy like me".

lol, getting pretty unserious here :P

But yes I'm curious what Tiësto actually has produced on his own.

Tiësto has lots of styles under his name.
The Love Comes Again / Traffic /Flight 643 style.
The Suburban Train / Silence / Re-Form / Sirius style.
Magik Journey / Forever Today (Geert) style

Probably a few of others too.

In My Memory, quality album. This is where we were introduced with the next series of "Tiësto" alias tunes after the banging Sparkles and Theme From Norefjell.

Just Be album is very varied cause as we all know he officially had different co-producers on almost every track.

Parade Of The Athletes I haven't really figured out, but officially Geert did a lot here too.

As for Armin, he does pretty much everything himself doesn't he ? Ferry probably works some with RvG, Paul probably does most on his own as well =)

Well if you'd bother to check the sleeve notes you'd see who was involved in each track. Like on Just Be the only track he made alone was Nyana... and it shows.

Surely I do read the sleeve notes. But just because a co-producer isn't mentioned doesn't mean Tiësto _really_ made the tune on his own.

But like you said, Nyana is a cool tune, but very special production wise which could mean Tiësto did all the work on it.
