Not really and I still like him but I can see people saying he's taking the route that Markus did.

I never really took to him as a DJ at all, and I began to bore of his productions a very long time ago. Another one of 'those people' that I wish would just fuck off really.

The way I look at it is if you are going to put hard dance sounds and elements in tracks/sets it needs to be at a higher bpm than what SvD plays at. Hard Prog makes no sense to me at all and it sound awful.

Can't we just wait to start bashing another great dj/producer until he reaches at least top 10 status on the dj mag poll? Seems like you all are jumping the gun rather early here.

I still like Sander, saw him at Dance Valley and he was one of the best sets there imo! Once in a while he takes his sets to weird and stupid places but I find for the most part he's full of energy and is a dancefloor destroyer.

Not digging the current direction they're going = bashing?

As far as DOOMBOT is concerned, if you're not down on your knee's and tonguing their balls then technically you are 'bashing' them.

Fanboys.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXACTLY!

Edit: On a serious note, I'm just happy to see the guy not take the route mostly all bigger djs are taking. He has pretty much developed his own sound and style with his tracks and his sets. That, to me, is a great thing for people who enjoy EDM and the scene in general. Its neat you can go see a dj like Armin, PvD, Tiesto, etc.. and hear them drop his tracks. Then you go see him perform a dj set and it sounds nothing like what they are playing.

No reason to say: "I still like ...." You like his style or you do not. Period. I like his style. (Period! )

I can only partially agree to this. He has managed to retain a particular sound, but to me it's slowly morphed more and more into the sound of yesteryear's tech house jocks. He isn't dropping 1983 at the beginning of some generic trance set, but instead dropping an old, played out Axer - 1, 2, 3 in a generic tech house set with some tech trance/techno to back it up. Seems tired to me.
