And in regards to the news I wouldn't trust other random unknowns writing the stuff but the idea of parsing articles out of extracted content from NYT etc as envisionned in the video is genius

But one thing that wasn't predicted was that computers would be writing the news instead of humans!

Funny we discussed the future of the internet earlier and today I fell on a cd I haven't seen in maybe 5 years:




I don't have the book anymore ( I'm sure it's in storage somewhere .... ).

It basically discusses how the information superhighway is going to evolve etc. This was written back in 1996!

I was all happy to find the cd as the book is on there, and there's a Bill Gates audio interview. Well isn't it my luck ... I can't even run the thing cause I don't have a 16 bit os ! ( I need to get winblows 3.1 apparently )


That's promising about the internet and future incompabilities etc.


There's a technical support phone number on the cd-rom for the publisher Penguin books in the Uk .... I called it and got a voicemail message in German for Procter and Gamble!

Damn you Microsoft! Damn you to hell!
