***BUZZ***
awesome game. although it doesnt sound awesome when described....
Sit in a circle. The first player says 'one,' the next player says 'two,' and so on down the line. When someone reaches a number that is
-divisible by 7 (7,14,21,28)
-contains 7 (17,27,37)
-is a double (11,22,33)
they say "buzz" and the circle reverses direction.
Whoever fucks up/misses a buzz/forgets to reverse direction/takes to long has to drink and it starts over from one. This game is best to play when you are all already drunk as its much more fun that way.
A variation is to add "fuzzy duck" to the game. Anytime during buzz, when its your turn, you say "this game sucks". The next person then says "fuzzy duck". That person then says "fuzzy duck" to the person on his/her left. This continues until someone decides to change the direction of play by saying "does he" (duzzy). "Does he" changes the direction and the phrase that is said. Not only does the direction change but the people must say "ducky fuzz." Now the game is going to the right with "ducky fuzz." The direction is then changed back by saying "does he." The words to say go back to "fuzzy duck."
Any screw-ups ===> drink. After awhile when the mistakes are more frequent, it turns into, "Does he F**ck?" or "F**k he does." and becomes hilarious.
anytime during all of this, say "this game sucks" to switch games |
too much math.
a good card game is asshole, someone already explained it up there. circle of death, trapped, hi/lo, sevens.
circle of death is where you lay out every card of one suit in a circle, and then players take turns picking one card. each card is a rule.. i.e. 4clubs only girls drink, kingclubs everyone drinks, etc. etc. make up your own rules for the cards.
trapped is similar to asshole. everyone gets cards divided evenly between them. the player with the 4 of clubs lays the first card. it then goes to the player's left. if that player has a 4, he lays it down and the next player to his left must lay a 4. if he doesn't, he's "trapped" and takes a drink. the person to his left then tries to lay a card that he thinks the "trapped" player doesn't have. say he lays a jack, and the "trapped" player doesn't have one. he is still "trapped," takes another drink, and it goes back to the player on his right. this goes on until the trapped player lays a card that his opponent laid. say the opponent lays an 8, and the trapped player has an 8, they lay it down, they become untrapped, and then it is on the person to the trapped's right to lay an 8, or drink. the first person to play all of their cards win.
hi/lo is simple. a dealer flips one card up. the player guesses on if the next card will be higher or lower than the first card. if he is right, the dealer drinks, if he is wrong, he drinks. if the dealer gets three people in a row to guess incorrectly, he may pass the deck to another player, thus making a new dealer.
sevens is where you lay out all four sevens in the deck on the table. you deal the rest of the cards out to the players. players go around and place their cards in numeric/suited order from 2-7 and from 7-A. if you can't lay a card directly in numeric order, you must drink the amount it takes from your card to the 7. i.e. if the only choice you have is to lay a 4 of hearts, and there is no 5 or 6 of hearts, you must take 3 drinks (4+3=7). same with Kh, if it is not numerically connected all the way to the 7 you must drink 6 (13-6=7). you'll get it if you lay out the cards in order. IF you lay a card directly in numeric order, i.e. lay a 6 of hearts next to a 7 of hearts, you give out that number of drinks (6 & 7 = 2 drinks). say you have 7,8,9,10 of hearts laid out, and you have the jack of hearts (and lay it) you give out 5 drinks (7,8,9,10,J). get it?
