Actually, yeah. If I knew a track was available in 4 months on vinyl, I would.
And maybe then we wouldn't see such a plethora of crap that gets released these days as "EDM". Its so easy to release digitally... and thats why there's so much crap around. Or am i being naive, and are there just far more producrs these days, fucked on drugs?
When you had to pay for your vinyl releases, people put a lot more thought into the music they were producing.
I know the world is going digital, and I know of its benifits... but for people like me who play on vinyl, and have spent a good part of their lives in these stores, interacting with the guys who work there, and physically going thru stacks of records with fabulous cover art.... there's an emotional bond that you won't understand if you world begins and ends with able-fucking-ton.
I know the worlds gonna change, and dj-ing too... but screw me if i wanna lug my record bags around from city to city for just a while longer.
