i'm a sucker for retro-sounding house tunes with infectious piano hooks, so these sound like they're right up my alley.

also, i don't think it's fair to review or form an opinion of a song after only hearing the Beatport sample. the samples don't really do justice to most tunes. especially with longer/proggier songs, you really need to hear how it builds and progresses, or hear it in the context of a set... but i'll be purchasing these so i'll wait until after i hear the full tracks to make my review.

I merely offered my opinion, as you and others have, and they just happen to conflict with some of yours.

And just as my opinion may be worthless in the eyes of you or others, on this subject I would happen to take Lawler's with a grain of salt; His opinion is no more meaningful than anyone elses.

reason why i didn't buy the tune. the sample didnt do justice so i just went ok this is eh..pass...these sites need to add better samples, im not gonna waste money on a tune just knowing it with a 30 sec sample at 14 kbps, sorry not gonna happen. i either hafta hear it on set from some1 or d/l the live set rip off other sources just to hear a better quality and longer sample of it.

actually i find it kinda fun and exciting to take chances on songs after only hearing a 1:30min sample. sometimes you end up with a few songs that aren't what you thought they were going to be, and maybe they suck balls, but other times you end up with amazingly sick tunes that you normally wouldn't have given a chance. sometimes if i'm really undecided on a tune, i'll just see if i can find another sample on another digital download site to get another perspective on it.

i find it really hard to regret spending money on music, so it all balances out in the end for me.

i dig both of 'em, but i think they're not really tracks that are all too enjoyable on their own. i've only listened to them by themselves but i think they'll sound better in the context of a set... so i'm looking forward to playing them out this weekend!
