I think what you're trying to do is considered time-correcting. If you can't do it in Ableton with the warp markers, I'd try ReCycle. Those would be my first, if not only methods at the moment.

I would also give Sony acid pro a shot..You can import samples type in what bpm you want them to be then just hit export loop..Hope this helps!
