There were different ways to win slammers.

You could make a bet that you would win a hit with the pogs, and if you did, you would get those pogs and the slammers.

Or you could actually slam the slammers with other slammers, and use the same rules as you would regular pogs.

I remember being in grade 3-4 and I would play all the grade 8's. I was taking their pogs and slammers like crazy

I couldn't imagine playing slammer-pogs. My slammers were way too precious for that.

Well with good slammers, (like the metal ones,) you would play with the pogs and betting deal.

I remember I started off with 1 metal slammer and a plastic slammer, and I ended up having at least 6-7 slammers, most of which were metal by the time I stopped playing.

haha oh man...My favorite slammer i ever had was a thick...THICK piece of plastic with a scorpion in the middle that was real before. I just thought it was the coolest thing to have a scorpion in your slammer lol


BTW, i had over 88 slammers when i was done with collecting. Altho the majority of them were those gay ass plastic ones that were like 1mm thick (barely any thicker than just a regular pog)
