Ok you are correct but it still. I have actually been taken many times on different scams and at the end of it I always think and it always is clear at the end, it was my own stupidity that helped me get taken.
I do not think it is ok at all, but I certainly find it funny when everyone always blames the sales men and nobody really blames their own greed.
Think about it,

no, there is no "but still". stop trying to justify it.
back to your pencil situation. IF the seller told the complete truth about the product but sold it for $1000 while another seller did the same thing and sold the same pencil for $0.10, then yes, it is the buyer's stupidity. when the seller makes up all kinds of lies about the product to purposely MISLEAD the customer, it is wrong and illegal. dont try to make it seem like its okay to pull this scam.

Bottom line is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Keep that thought in your head, and you'll have more luck hanging on to your money.

Yes you are correct, but sometimes people have to do things in order to feed their families and selling speakers i whole lot better than dealing drugs or robbiing people at gun point. If someone tells you a pencil is worth $1,000 and you buy it that's your own fault. No body is making people do anything as it is the ACTUAL greed of the buy that comes into play.
that is by far the stupidest thing i have ever herd, it is robbing people because your telling them what your selling is worth 10 times more then what your paying when it's worth ten times less this is why if any legit buissness does something like that you take them to the B.B.B
I am not justifing anything. I do not agree with what is going on at all but I also think that everyone that gets taken should also look in the mirrior and blame them selves for buying shit from a van.
Bottom line how can you trust anyone selling anything from a van and think you are getting a deal, especially electronic equipment that you have no means of testing.
Call it how you want, i call it plain stupidity.
