Barcelona - PAO - Champions League 2003 Quarter Finals

PAO were winners in Athens 1-0 thanks to a Basinas penalty and thanks to Konstadinou we took the lead after about 6 minutes at the Nou Comp.

Was a tough contest from then on with Saviola scoring two along with some other Barcelona player making it 3-2 on aggregate at around the 60th minute mark.

From then on PAO just dominated the game with Olisedebe being put through one on one with the Barce keeper only to be knocked the fuck over by him. The advantage was played as Karagounis picked it up on the wing, skipped a challenge from a Barce defender and switched the ball to Kostadinou who's first time shot was cleared off the line by Pujol.

PAO just kept applying the pressure and Kyrgiakos nearly sent us through with a volley that went inches past the upright.

Although it was a depressing time to see us get knocked of the CL with such promise one thing that sticks in my mind is for those last 10 minutes all you could hear at the Nou Camp were Barce fans whistling for full-time.

Loosing the uefa cup final to porto's cheating diving antics in 2003.

Especially after larsson scoring twice. I was devastated.

We played Porto that year in the Uefa Cup aswell I think. Yes, they are dirty, diving ****s -- Celtic deserved to win that one.

Moment i was most pissed was the chelsea game 2years ago when terry or carvalho made a foul on valdes and one of those two scored the deciding goal to go through...

One of the best sporting moments ever is and will be Belletti's goal in the CL finl
Most euphoric night of my life! Too bad i didnt score that night

I've had tons and tons of those.

National Team:

We played Germany in the second game of the groupstage of the France World Cup back in 1998. We had the game in our hands, and was in the lead with 2:0. Perica Ognjenovic, I think it was, Scored the first goal which could be seen by a goalcamera on TV. The ref saw it was a goal though, somehow. The germans started coming, scored 2:1 and equalized, 2:2. I was so pissed that day, we had the game for 60 minutes, and then fell off because of the typical thing we've always had problems with, the concentration.

Back in 1998 we played against Holland and had a very good squad with players like Mijatovic in our squad. I remember we played very good and Mihajlovic was one of our best players. It was 1:1 until the very last minutes when Bergkamp stepped with his foots on Mihajlovic's breast and the referee didn't see this diry challenge which probably could've got Bergkamp sent off. Instead, In the very last minutes of the game, Edgar Davids shot the ball against goal and scored 2:1. Mijatovic had missed a penalty earlier in the game.

I remember back in 2000 when we played Spain in the groupstage of that tournament. We played fantastic football and mixed it with bad defending from time to time agianst the Spaniards, who had beaten us in the Qualifier for World Cup 98 in France home.

So we were in the lead, and suddenly the Spaniards scored 3:3 which still meant we would go through. Later on Alfonso scored another goal and that meant 4:3 to Spain, and I was devestated. But on the same time, Slovenia and Norway only managed to draw and we still got through. It was luck on the same time as I was pissed we had lost such a great game.

But then, The most devestating game for me must've been the 6:1 loss against Holland back in 2000 where the stadiums were orange. We got our ass kicked so hard, just because we weren't fast enough to take on Holland.

I'll have to add the Argentina-game from the World Cup in Germany this year. We lost with incredible 6:0 and I stopped counting after 3:0. The goals came on a roll, and suddenly everyone got so pissed off and wanted Petkovic to leave. That's what happened aswell, and Kezman got sent off, Just like six years back, in Holland, that time against Norway after being on the pitch for less than 2-3 minutes.

Club:

I had a good feeling about the final against Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League. But we lost the game and Lars Ricken scored that beautiful goal when he came on the pitch. Fantastic performance to lob over Peruzzi and that's still in my head ever since then.

The next year we played another final, but we lost it against Real Madrid and fucking Mijatovic scored the only goal of the game which meant 1:0 to Real Madrid.

We had played 3 straight finals in 3 years, and lost 2 of them, but back in 1995/1996 we won the final against Ajax.

We lost another final, this time against Milan. I remember those ****s winning it, I was so pissed off that night. I had a game next day with my team, and I couldn't fucking play because of that final, so I started playing rough, and guess what, We lost that aswell.

I've lost a million of times, Fucking sucks..
