The crowd reminded me of the scene @ M Lounge when Tiesto came. Very bleh!

We had a pretty good night. It was very busy in the beginning of the night, but I think that's what happens usually during the film festival parties. Dubfire came on at 12:30 and for about an hour played a set that suited the mood/crowd at the time, bigger party tunes, more recognizable tracks- it was pretty good and very fun, but the real treat was after 1:30am when many of the earlier people left and there was much more room to dance, and the crowd was more into the music. I felt that the 'second' part of the set was much more intense and intricate, and deeper, with a few really good, twisty buildups, and with lesser known tracks. It was an excellent set. I didn't stay right up until the very end (I think he was playing until 4am), as it was a weeknight and I had to be good, but it was a treat once again to see Deep Dish in a smaller venue.

You politely told him that although you loved his work in high school high, he was going to have to vaccate your seat. He threw a hissy fit and said that he was always unappreciated in this country and stormed out of the restaurant. I didn't see it personally but there are reports that he crashed his car into lake ontario, someone please confirm.
After that things appeared to be going smoothly until Jack Nicholson showed up dressed as the Joker. Apparently he too had been in a car accident and he reverted back to an old memory and actually believed he was the joker. While acting as joker he took you hostage, and if it weren't for quick thinking by Fuad to give him 14 shots of zambuca and have him pass out things could have gotten ugly, good job Fuad.

From then on in the night was perfect for you. You were like tinkerbell floating on air. At one point you got into the DJ both and got on the mic and said "can you smell what the sling is cooking", then took your shirt off and did some flexing moves.

Dubfire gave you a huge hi five and you jumped into the crowd rock star style and crowd surfed out of the building.

What a night you had!!!
