It's not really uncomfortable, but you can feel a weird sensation while putting the headphones.

whaty I find rare, is that they stick out of my ear, and are very visible, I though they were less visible, so I'm not sure if they are touching the headphones when I put them on.

if the plugs were custom moulded then they are 'non stickiy out'. the sticky out ones are a standard size that are around 15-20£ they look like mushrooms with three mushroom heads.

i find my 'sticky out ones'(er-20) to be fine. you are meant to really push them into your ear so you cant feel the earphones touching the tips. i use hd25's and they are fine. if you are usinf custom moulded ones then i didnt think they protruded from the ear???

For the Er-15s, the plugs are available in three variants- two that stick out, and one that doesnt.

The etymotic ones are available in three styles

Which type do you have? The first two will be uncomfortable under headphones and will be visible- the latter shouldnt be.

If its uncomfortable, then either you have the wrong type, or you just havent adjusted to them yet (which should happen very quickly TBH)

These ones are disturbing me, when I'm mixing, taking off the headphones and put them on, I seem to move them, and it even stick out of my ear.

I told the guy that I was a DJ and I needed with inverted filters beacuse I use headphone.

I didn't know about the different styles and the proper name
but I remember I read something over here,i think it was your thread, to make sure I order the ones with inverted filters.

DO you think they should make new ones for me?

I'm not feeling good, this cost me 275 $ with shipping and the local ear doctor her ein my country.

I have the partially countersunk kind and they dont work well with the hd25s. i am going to get the flush ones made. has anyone used these and does it make a big difference in comfort when used with headphones?
