so I didn't end up going.... I was actually intending to and then just passed out on the couch after getting home. I awoke to my phone ringing and it was this guy asking if I was lost and needed better directions on how to get there.... this was 30 minutes after it was supposed to have started.
I told him something about a long day and let him know I was no longer interested unless he could give me more info now over the phone...
All he could tell me after some hesitation was that it's an e-commerce advertising company.... that made me even more sure I didn't care about missing the pitch tonight. lol. I figure its how to create pop ups and internet ads.

Meh. Sorry I didn't get the audio like I had planned I thought it would have been funny and interesting.

I was once offered a great secretive job, that I actually took. I got it at a Canada Employment Centre in Montreal once summer while in university. I had 2 interviews before I found out what is it that I was going to do. It was very good pay, temporary work.

I ended up sorting envelopes for the mailmen for Canada Post during their strike. The mailmen were managers.

I essentially was a scab... and found out how nasty that could be when our 'secret location' was found by angry union workers, and trashed the place with baseball bats. It made the news. But hey, it was good pay.
