If you look on Armins website his tour sched puts him in Seattle October 27th....with no dates for three weeks before that....why not get him here on the 26th of october or something....wierd.....

My thoughts exactly.

If this is "promoter wars" then somebody needs to go back to school and take some basic management classes.

Option A: Put them on the same night.
Prove that nobody cares about who is promoting what. Neither show sells out because there is a core group of people that go to these events.

Option B: Put them on different nights one after another.
More people will go to the events than in option a (easily), but not as many as if they were a week or more apart as people may not feel up to paying for two events one night after another.

So why dig yourself a hole? Guarantee a sellout and put it on another night instead of risking not selling out.

I am hoping the "barstars" head over to Plush and AVB because he is the number #3 best DJ in the world and not #4! lol

2006 DJ Mag results will be up at the end of October, something tells me something will be changing.

Ahh, nice booking... Can't we all get along?

But, seriously, I doubt that this is a case of promoter wars. It was probably Twisted's only option and so they decided to bring him in.

Personally, I'm leaning towards the Englishman.

I agree, if you wanna party hard then Armin is the man...especially right before New Years. I've been listening to Sasha's latest sets, and although I really like the music, its seems pretty chilled out IMO, can't really dance to that but I like Sasha's style, but hopefully he doesn't go lazy on us with Abelton.

pretty sure there will be more "bar stars" at sasha since he's still more of a house hold name, most ppl wont admit to listening to trance.

would be nice if we could get this kinda talent in on NYE since most TA's dont have very much to choose from that night.

It's not promoter wars.

It's not like Twisted purposely booked Armin to be on the exact same night as Sasha. It all comes down to availabilty. It's the same thing as promoters bringing BIG artists to clubs on NON weekend nights. They don't choose to bring them on a Tuesday or Thursday rather then a Friday it's just the date they can get from the artist.

Personally i've seen Armin a few times and I've never seen Sasha so you know where you can find me.
