I showed up at around uh, midnight or so with Kate and my friend Kevin who's visiting from Florida. Louis came outside to meet up with us and gave us tickets (thanks), and with the tickets we got inside ahead of a lineup of about 20ish ginos in the "VIP" lineup, and about a dozen people in the regular lineup. We just walked up and the bouncer was like "oh, ticket holders", and let us right in, so it's real nice to see that thus far they've held to their word about not repeating the Diggers fiasco.

First impression: the sound system is fucking SICK. Seriously, fucking insane sound system. Crystal clarity and thumping bass; the way a sound system should be. It was like a mini version of Stereo or something, pure class. Creator was playing an awesome opening set; first time I've seen him live and definitely not the last.

As for Seb... fucking EXCELLENT. Honestly like Louis said, I'd forgotten how good this guy was. Last time I saw him was 3 years ago or something in Vancouver and I wasn't particularly impressed, but fuck he killed the place last night. Between him and Creator, the mixing was so flawless that it sounded like it was being done in Ableton.

Sorry for selling out Tag, I'll buy you some drinks tonight and we can kiss and make up.

So like I said depending on if your an NCM or Officer and your rank, you probably make at least $50,000 a year but most likely more. And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

Wow what an AWESOME night. I had a blast. Amazing music, I had no idea Seb Fontaine was that good!

Unfortunately for me, Sean was buying drinks all night...... doubles aren't so great on the body the next day. Puking at the airport sucks =/

went out sober for the 1st time in what seems like years and probably is, what an accomplishment haha, although it was docs orders, but wow still had a great time, just like 'Club Therapy' goes "...just a regular guy, who walks into a club and wants to hear a groove" And man did i ever hear some good grooves Seb was crazy, and i have to agree the sound was unbelievable, spicy! Really lookin forward to Lawler already got my ticket.
On another note im not going to Stereo tonight for the 1st time since july 2nd, dont know why im mentioning this but having gone that often its hard not to go for one weekend, need a weekend off, now i must pass out meds are kickin in. Hope everyone has/had a wild night at Stereo with Fanciulli be back next weekend.
Peaceout

Uhhhhhhh SIIIICCCKKKK!!!

I got outta class at 5:15pm, had a bottle of wine at my place at 9pm and was @ Tribe by 10pm. Alex and I were told at 10:15pm that the club wasn't open yet, so I got a bit nervous about Digweed night problems re-ocurring...BUT! I was in the club by 10:30pm and Creator was just...ripping...it...up!!! God, you're amazing...and that sound system is sweeeeeeet!!!

The night progressed veryyyyy nicely and b4 I knew it, Creator's set was finished and Seb's was already on firrreeeee . I must mention SEAN WALSH at this point because Kate and himself had arrived at that point and Sean was intoxicating me with (total of) 3 rhum @ cokes (2 I believe were doubles, ), some vodka-cranberries, a Corona and I'm surrrreeeee there was something else from that Devilsh man ...

THENNNNNNNNNNN...J@y handed me a vodka-something and that was it for me. I had sooooooooooo much fun with everyone who was there...Ugh I hate saying the names because I always forget someone...Umm, Alex, Haki, Sean, Kate, Vermz, Louis, J@y, ummmmmmmm, omg Martin obviously lol (I had soooooooo much fun on that dancefloor with you, a nice change from DJ booth dancing hehe)...

I said hello to Seb @ the end (he like, towered over me lol) and told him quite honestly that this set was much better than his last one at Aria in October '05, and that I sincerely enjoyed myself and the music. He agreed, saying that he liked the vibe much more tonight than last time @ Aria. Good times...

I got home at like 4am, Hakim and I talked about music and our insane passion for it til like 5am LOL...he went home, I went to bed and was supposed to wake up at 9:30am cuz I had work at 11am. My eyes opened at 11:03am, and, needless to say, I did not go to work...Oh welllllll!

SO DAMN WORTH IT

Can't waitttttttt 4 my baby @ Tribe this Thursday omg...
