^^ or if you're like me and don't have dual monitors, but has a gigantic widescreen lcd that needs a "good" video card that can support ridiculous resolutions.

Otherwise it's not that important. You don't need tons of memory in it or bleeding edge speed as in games.

Yeah my shitty Radeon 9250..i got for like 50 bucks it's not hard to run dual.

wow that snowballed sorry for the lag on responding guys. I know about the search :-P i just thought some quick pointers would be cool, Im a LAzy bitch :-). K with that said I am prolly getting a dual core. I need to run multiple VST without worrying about the computer bogging out. I use both Soft and hardware synths. I like asking people for there opinions cuz someone might know more about motherboards, someone might know about audio cards. some people know deals and stuff. I do appreciate all the responses sorry if this post pissed you off but in my defence , you did click to read :-P
