A lot of people predict that it could happen again soon but I must say that google while they have had great plans to guarantee their continued popularity the advertisement program they use is at great risk.

Hello, welcome to last decade?

However, I'll keep an open mind about your theory, even though I don't see it happening to Google.

Well, here, while it's still available (and quite appropriate)

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

This, I find very believable. I don't see how YouTube can be worth so much.

Nothing is preventing history from repeating itself!

Well what I am saying is that this net based "economy" where no tangible goods are being produced could very well go bust very shortly.

But the major web players are playing it safe this time around so the come down should be less hard ... well maybe not as the money involved is much larger now than back in the 90s.

Read an interesting article here on the subject of the potential web bust and how new kids on the block are making fortunes:

Download the podcast for the article if you can't be bothered reading

Although, I don't really care who owns it and what they show/don't show...as long as I don't have to pay to watch it, upload stuff.

In the words of Scott Adams: "Did you know that if you put a little hat on a snowball it can last a long time in hell?"
