don't forget the 'play dead' move which has helped them beat england in the last 2 major tournaments. It's especially good with the 'roll over 7000 times' one, however if you really were that hurt, you couldn't even do that, you'd just fall in a lump.

Considering it happened after the whistle and Figo got a yellow card for it - how exactly did it pave the way for a victory? That game turned ugly early on once the boot tackle against Ronaldo's leg wasn't called - it just set the tone for the rest of the game.

Further, if you even paid attention, it was hardly a 'headbutt' of consequence as the dutch player (Mark van Bommel) just dived.

Zidane's, on the other hand, was a quality headbutt.

While I admit there have been some lame displays of fakeness in order to get a call - you can't blame England's performance over the years on that... they haven't played to their potential

precisely mate, but key calls have also hindered us, you can only go so far with those. The disallowed goals in 1998 (sol campbell) vs argentina & i think it was Sol again in euro 2004 both would've seen us given the chance to progress, and see if we could meet it, but like spain & others, we rarely play to it, but the english media make sure of that, vultures.

I'm glad there's so many people to celebrate when we play like shit. Better than 10 years ago when nobody cared.
