I turned the wheel left (donnu how it is called in english) and it was beatmatched again so I raised the pitch a bit but then it went out of sync again.
There was no vinyl noise at the end of the track (so it can't be recorded of vinyl and there is no reason that the track wouldn't be recorded at the same bpm).
What could be the problem?
I used a old pair of CDJ100, could that be the problem?

Omer.
i suggest buying ur tracks.. cause aparently you arent

Honestly,

I think that being able to correct quickly and precisely is a more important skill in beatmatching that actually getting an accurate beatmatch.

And don't look at the BPM on the CDJs it will just throw you off they aren't anywhere near accurate enough to mix with.

There was no BPM meter anywhere...

i see another problem i missed before, i thought i tsaid cdj1000 not 100

with the 100's the pitch goes .1 instead of teh 1000 which goes .02

so ya sometimes u cant match it perfectly so ull have to keep making adjustments, but be SUPER careful because the wheels on the 100's are soooo sensitive.

Unless, of course, the guy would bring it in on the fourth beat of the new phrase of the outgoing track. A couple of tracks I've purchased off of Beatport are actually missing one or two beats, so I have to bring them in on the second or third beat of the outgoing track.

yeah, but matching with a .1% error won't result in it drifting after 2 seconds.

exactly i seem to manage just fine mixing on 0.1% decks. if u have matched 2 tracks well enough you shouldnt have to correct more than 2 or 3 times in a mix.

Lol... you guys should start playing more vinyl, you have to correct CONSTANTLY throughout the mix, locking and walking away is much much more difficult (even on 1200's).

Now that I've been playing with Torq for a week or so, I go back to my CDJ-1000's and it's a no-brainer.

Yup. I rented a pair of CDJ 800's (rent to buy, technically) and the first thing I did was put some tape over the BPM counter.
