Yeah but why would a lot of them paint/draw things that look just like the UFOs that have been reported and photographed for the past 58 years at least? Even before then with the airship sightings in the 19th Century that were very similar to the UFOs seen in the 20th Century. Even some of the images have depictions that are very similar to each other....craft emitting light, and even a person or people looking up at it..like on the picture with the virgin Mary and baby Jesus. I've been into UFOs, alien abductions and the whole ancient astronaut thing since I was a kid. I've done my research, and no I don'tbelieve every conspiracy theory out there or every report or photo of UFOs, but there has been enough evidence for me to believe. You wont know this until you actually read books on them and go through the stuff which is reliable and what is bunk. It's possible that some of them aren't actually UFOs/Spacecraft, some could be the sun or eclipses or stars or whatever, but some are just eeirely similar to UFOs.

I am not a huge fan of guys like Eric Von Daniken, or Zecharia Sitchin, who can sound kind of hokey sometimes, though Daniken has some good points esp about the Bible and the Pyramids. I'de say a better, more reliable guy is Graham Hancock, he is a bit more scientific and believes that humanity was much more advanced at one point....a lost civilization like Atlantis which influenced many cultures all over the world.

how many paintings done in this period were of supposed UFOs though? in percentage terms im gonna wager "fuck all". as for them looking like "todays" UFOs, a round object would be a logical choice for a people that hadnt experienced traditional aircraft.

Yeah but unless we were more advanced in the past and had aircraft like we do now, then what are the objects in the sky in these pictures? Like I said, I don't doubt that some of them are depictions of the sun, but some of them just look a lot like flying aircraft, esp the two on either side of Jesus on the crucifixion picture? with insignia and all...they obviously look like they are controlling something. I think it's crazier people believe that the person on the left side of Christ on the Leonardo Di Vinci "Last Supper" picture is Mary Magdaleine, since it's one picture. With this, there are many pictures from all over the world, throughout time, with similar things. This is just a few of them....it's gotta mean something other than just all of these artists imagination...why would they draw these things on these pictures? and a lot on religious pictures...it doesn't make sense. If they are not alien space/aircraft, then they have to be someone elses...we would have had to been more advanced then what we think.

artists of all eras have wonderful imaginations someone has already noted in this thread the distinct lack of written work to support these pictures. somehow they are excellent painters but too primitive?

Maybe its because Leonardo saw and/or been on one of these UFOs? Maybe they passed his some knowledge, for future generations?

You can't just consider the art to be based on their dreams and fantasy. You might as well discount the buildings, the people in those paintings. Just say they made everything up, its not real, just imagination.

There aren't that many paintings of UFOs in the last 50 years because not that many people paint anymore. Plus the government propaganda campaign has been working so well to disinform people and make UFO sightings and photos look like a joke. So there you go. In an attempt to debunk the whole alien/UFO thing, governments and our entire society made up an entire web of alien stories, made movies on them, to debunk it. You think the entire existence of aliens and UFOs was entire made-up? I am 100% certain that actual sightings were taken, twisted around by the government and media in an attempt to cover up, and spitted back in a way to disprove their existence. Sci-fi/alien movies were made to debunk it too. Some people might say they've been on their planet - next year a movie comes out showing how a human being visits an alien planet.


In any case, when primitive cultures see people-like human-like beings in the sky, in the crafts, by any analysis people will call them angels and Gods. In my opinion, thats how Moses received his 10 commandments. And thats how the waters of the Red Sea were moved aside for Hebrew flight from Egypt.

I used too be a big fan/beliver of UFOs, always thought that our govt had a Roswell cover up, then went to study crop circles and some art work that depicted some type of alien illustration. But later on as I studied the Cold War and the race for technology with the ex USSR, I confirmed that everything I believed was all bs

Come on people, In past times if people had known that aliens existed, dont you think we would have some type of historical finding confirming it. Yeah it would be however I believe of recent, having been into UFOs since I was around 6 years old, that these aliens out there aren't traveling far distances from some other planet. What these people could have seen over time was technology on Earth, having been created by an advanced civilization(s) that predated most of what we can trace back. The people thought that they were Gods with their advanced technology, and this is one of the reasons these things show up in a lot of religious pictures. They are living mostly underwater now (alot of people have reported USOs in both the Atlantic and Pacific, near both "triangles", possibly a base down there). At one point these civilizations could have lived in mountainous areas. If you think about it, the Greeks believed their Gods came from Mt. Olympus, what if they indeed did? This could have been one of the reasons the Greeks were so advanced.

Sounds crazy, and i'm just speculating so I don't want anyone to flame me or label me as a weirdo, but think about it...and the God (s) in religious stories were often depicted as coming from heaven. Heaven wasn't to people in the past, a far off place where we go to when we die. They thought of heaven as the sky/stars/universe...literally "the heavens".

If these advanced beings were stupid, yeah they would come right out and say "we are here" but they haven't. They in a sense tease us of their presence, manipulate us and hide in the shadows so as not to tip the balance of history or what we know of it. If you were an advanced civilization and come to a planet and build bases and influence the people, would you really want the people to think you were aliens? Why not just come across like your Gods. People will build temples, and create mythologies around them. Essentially...create a whole cover-up via mythology and religion and the people wouldn't think that what they were witnessing wasn't God or Gods but aliens. Just a thought. And once things started getting out of hand, they would have various "prophets" to try to restore order and balance, through various religions.

There's so many really bizzare things in the bible....clouds hovering over people's houses with light shinning through, wheels within a wheel, tongues of fire, bizzare creatures with many faces (which probably just had one face but Ezekiel had trouble describing it), a person (s) sitting on a thrown...these two things were seen in both Ezekiel and Revelations. Jesus was taken up up into a cloud during the transfiguration. When he came back, he told his apostles not to speak a word as to what they had seen, after seeing both Moses and Elijah up there with him. And Jesus glowed, because of this immense light from the cloud, and this took place on a mountain. If Jesus really wanted people to know he was the messiah and his church to be built, wouldn't he have wanted his apostles to tell people this miraculous thing they had witnessed? Why did he want it covered up? Something mysterious about this...there's so many other things I don't have all day. I just don't think the idea some skeptics use "well if there were aliens, wouldn't you think they would come right out on the White House lawn and say they are here". I don't think these aliens are that stupid to do this...there's far too many implications if they revelead they were here, it's more subtle clues they give us of their presence.

Common, i bet a serious analysis of most of those text your claiming from ancient peoples are just being misred, by mistake or on purpose to push the UFO agenda. And serious, a planet that goes counterclockwise, why has this never been in the mainstream press? Oh wait, your probably gonna say the government is censoring it right
I dont think we need to make up things on purpose to present the idea that there is other intelligent life in the universe.

I've heard this claim that Magnetonium is making before, and I don't really believe it. I don't buy into it completely, but the stuff I said, it's all speculation, i'm not asking anyone to believe it. But it's just some things to think about. I'm truly not a conspiracy theorist or someone who believes whatever he reads, but there are many things that are mysterious about our past, and many similarities among cultures, mythologies, art that there has to be something they were witnessing. It wasn't all forces of nature that some people claim is what these ancient peoples were witnessing (I don't doubt that some of it was, but not all) and couldn't explain...people also describe flying things in the sky or moving, fiery clouds or chariots of fire like the vimanas in Hinduism..or airships in the 19th Century.

If these aren't aliens, then they are certaintly advanced technology that we have somewhere...perhaps civilizations that never died out and possess technlogy that we can only dream of. I mean who knows, if you do your research, you will see that something is happening, people are seeing something. It's not just people using their imaginations, dreaming up advanced technology in times when we think much advanced technology like this was completely unheard of. Why did Ezekiel (or whoever wrote it) describe flying ships in the Bible, why did God or Angels..Cheribum fly on ships or clouds of fire? That's exactly what he was describing in the first 2 chapters of Ezekiel...creatures coming from wheels within a wheel....some type of technology. When put in perspective, these wheels within a wheel look a lot like what people are seeing with UFOs. They even were described as moving just like UFOs have been seen to move. A quote from Ezekiel..

"As I looked at the living creatures, I saw wheels on the ground, one beside each of the four living creatures. The wheel had the sparkling appearance of chrysolite, and all four of them looked the same. They were constructed as though one wheel were within another. They could move in any of the four directions they faced, without veering as they moved. The four of them had rims, and I saw that their rims were full of eyes all around. When the living creatures moved, the wheel moved with them, and when the living creatures were raised from the ground, the wheels were raised. Wherever the spirit said to go, there the wheels went, and they were raised together with thye living creatures; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels"

Sounds an awful lot like technology eh? And this was thought to have been written over 2,000 years ago, and perhaps revised many times, but it still pretty much carries the same idea.
