you know...i think i would like to live in a small town in europe sometimes. like a really old village with beautiful scenery and tons of history, but with easy access to a large city. i don't think i could do it in north america though, which would be my only option without a pesky eu passport.
then again, i think i could potentially go crazy as well.
maybe when i'm old.

haha that is HUGE compared to Barry's Bay! At least somewhere that size will have a few places that can keep you entertained while you aren't working. And you won't run into the exact same people EVERY time you go out!

that was the size of markham when i first moved here in the late 80s and it wasnt that small. that is pretty big for a town, its more like a small city.

Ok, let's say the city of Barrie and with no edm scene
Ya, that's a better example...

also, i would probably get burned on a cross if i lived in a small town.
You'd be fine... an adamant, passionate, strong-willed atheist here, and I've not been burned yet on a cross

I wouldn't move to a city any smaller then Toronto!
I think Toronto is the perfect size. I would only move to a larger city. Sure larger cities have their disadvantages...but the positives definitely outway the negatives of large cities!

Trust me - I know what it's like. Everyone in this town basically only listens to country music, and that frightens me. However, being in a town that has no edm scene makes you appreciate edm SOOO much more. Every chance that I have to go to Toronto and see one of my favourite DJs makes me unbelievably happy.

Ann Arbour, Michigan is a gorgeous town. It's small...a real university town. I always wanted to go to school there (University of Michigan), just so I could live in that town. But I'd only want to live in that town if I were in school there.

I moved from Los Angeles to a town with only 12,000 people.... now this town is only 4 miles from Times Square NYC so it's really not the same deal but in my case I had no problems with it!
