Our scene is driven by $$$ and it takes that extra spark away from it. Look at the ridiculus prices we're paying to see DJs now. $85 for TIESTO is ridiculus, specially when in a city so close as Tijuana he's only $20 for a way better show!
Not only that, but look at PVD. He's at Monster Massive for $50, but you get Armin, Markus, and a ton of other quality talent. Then a month later, PVD is $50 for just him and Jerry Bonham.
I'm sorry but these high prices drive away people who are in it for the love of music, and those unsuperficial.

Where did u get your start as an EDM artist...? what clubs gave you your 1st opportunity to do what you love publicly...? which record stores did you purchase your first vinyls/euqipment from...?which crowd of people come out and see you @ SPundae every now and then....? what city is the club you spin in located....? i can ask you so many more questions but i think u get my point....it's one thing to be criticial of where you live and the habitat that surrounds you and its another thing 2 straightout talk shit.....i mean yah its not the most beautifull city in the world, and yah its not the cleanest and certaintly not the least polluted, and yah maybe its not filled with people that pick flowers on the sidewalk everyday and and ask you what time church is on sunday, but gosh darn-it its our city......LosAngeles is our hometown, its where we live its where we party, its where we eat out, its where we hookup, its where we take shits, its where we everythinggggggggggggggggggggggg........im born and raised in Hollywood, you dont get more "LA" than me. Trust me i know exactly what you guys are talking about.......But lets stop talkin shit and realize the fact that the talent that comes thru LA is orgasmic sumtimes....[B]I mean i honestly consider myself privileged to have a decision like "hmmmmmmmmmmm what do i wanna do 2nite, do i wanna go2 Picotto and Fleming @ SPundae, do i wanna see Nic Fanciulli @ Avalon, or maybe ill just go2 G&D @ Vanguard..." (its no contest i personally dont care about anything besides Picotto , but you guys get my pointtttttt)....THATS 5 WORLD CLASS DJs IN ONE NIGHT, not to mention the disgusting local talent that opens up for these worldclass acts....ie FEI FEI, Bob, Jesse, Tigo, Armen and so on......and its not the 1st time thats happened......
i mean cmon guys can we give it a rest..........i dont think any other locations talks so much shit about themselves as much as we do.....its embarrasing............for pete sakes
